Thermostats
A thermostat switches a device (boiler, burner, circulator, heating element) on and off according to the temperature it measures. The type depends on where the measurement is taken:
- Room: wall-mounted, controlling the temperature of the home (Siemens).
- Immersion: in a sensor pocket, in the water of the boiler or cylinder (IMIT).
- Contact: on the pipe, often for circulators (IMIT).
- Remote bulb: with capillary and bulb, for operation, safety or flue gas monitoring.
- Water heater: for electric heating elements (Thermowatt).
