Magnetic filters
Over the years, sludge, rust and fine metal particles build up in heating water. They end up in the boiler, circulator and heat exchangers, reducing their performance and causing faults. A magnetic filter catches them before they get there.
Brassform filters are made of brass and combine a magnet, which captures ferrous particles, with hydrocyclonic flow, which drops heavier particles to the bottom. They are fitted on the return, before the boiler or heat pump, and are cleaned periodically. Choose a size that matches the pipework.
