Instantaneous Water Heaters

A gas instantaneous water heater heats water the moment you open the tap: the flow fires the burner and the water warms up as it passes through the heat exchanger. There is no storage tank, so there is no waiting for water to heat up and no energy spent keeping it hot when you are not using it. It suits homes, holiday houses and small commercial premises with an LPG supply where there is no room for a cylinder or a solar water heater. This category offers the Riello Acquafun 14, an open chamber LPG instantaneous water heater.

How to choose

• Gas type: each appliance runs on a specific gas; the Acquafun 14 is for LPG.
• Flow rate in litres per minute: it shows how much hot water it delivers at once, and so how many taps or showers it can serve together.
• Open or room-sealed chamber: an open chamber model draws combustion air from the room, so it needs proper ventilation and a flue; gas regulations decide where it can go.
• Water pressure: the burner only fires above a minimum flow; on low pressure supplies, ask us before you buy.
• Maintenance: regular combustion checks and cleaning of the heat exchanger keep the appliance safe, especially with hard water.

The gas connection must be made by a licensed gas technician. For questions about location, flue or supply, call us on 2610 334 389 or visit our shop at 171 Ag. Ioanni Pratsika St, Patras.
