Heat pump Monoblock
In a monoblock heat pump the entire refrigerant circuit is inside the outdoor unit. Hot (or chilled) water leaves it for the house, so the connection uses only water pipes, with no refrigerant lines inside the building.
It is simple to install and suits underfloor heating, fan coil units and low temperature radiators. Because the water pipes run outdoors, they need good insulation and frost protection.
