Tank in Tank containers

A Tank in Tank is two vessels in one: a cylinder for domestic hot water sits inside a larger buffer tank holding the heating water. The heating water is warmed by the boiler or solar collectors and, as it surrounds the inner tank, it heats the domestic water too.

This saves space in the plant room and lets several heat sources work together, for example a biomass boiler and solar collectors. You will find vessels without a heat exchanger, with one or with two heat exchangers for separate circuits.
