Circulators
A circulator moves hot water from the boiler to the radiators and back. Without it, radiators on a closed circuit do not heat evenly.
Electronic inverter circulators adjust their speed to demand and use less electricity than conventional ones. Many models also list their equivalent among well-known circulators, for easy replacement. You will find Shinhoo and IMAS circulators. When choosing, check:
- the head and flow rate the system needs
- the connection size (e.g. 25 or 32)
- the installation length between unions, if you are replacing an existing pump
