A nipple is a short piece of pipe with a male thread at both ends. It joins two female fittings, for example a valve to a tee or an elbow, or bridges short gaps in pipework without cutting and threading on site.
Black nipples are intended for heating circuits and boiler rooms, not for drinking water. Choose the inch size to match the fittings you are joining, from small sizes up to large ones for boiler room manifolds.
