A 45° bend changes the direction of a flue without a sharp turn. Two such bends with a straight length between them create an offset, so the flue can clear a beam, a lintel or a roof overhang.

Because the turn is gentle, flue gases meet less resistance than in a 90° bend, and the draught is less affected. The bends are made by Art Kamin in stainless steel, in the same diameters as the single wall pipes. Choose the same diameter as the rest of the chimney.
