The Mastersol BLV1 is a vertical hot water cylinder with one removable heat exchanger: a coil of 1″ steel pipe protected with epoxy resin. It is double energy: the water is heated by the heat exchanger, connected for example to the central heating boiler, and by a 4 kW electric heating element, on request.
Inside, it is protected from corrosion with epoxy resin. So are its coils. A magnesium anode gives extra protection against corrosion.
It stands upright and has ports for recirculation and for an immersion thermometer, a cleaning flange and a magnesium anode. The insulation is removable soft polyurethane, 100 mm thick, with a soft PVC jacket. It is meant for homes and businesses, from 1,500 to 9,000 litres.
It is also available with larger heat exchangers, with a heating surface of 5.4 m², and with a metal outer casing; ask us.
From the manufacturer's photos and drawings.
The coil enters the lower part of the tank through a side flange. Up to 3,000 litres it has a 3.2 m² heating surface, from 4,000 litres 5.4 m² and on the 7,000 and 9,000 litre models 7.8 m².
The coil is a spiral of 1″ steel pipe protected with epoxy resin, fixed to its own flange. It is removable.
The 100 mm soft polyurethane insulation is covered with a soft PVC jacket. The large flanges are at the front.
All have an epoxy resin lining, removable heat exchangers, 100 mm insulation, a 10 bar working pressure and a 25 bar heat exchanger pressure. The steel gets thicker as the capacity grows.

2610 334 389 info@climaventis.grThat the water is heated in two ways: by the heat exchanger, connected for example to the boiler, and by a 4 kW electric heating element, fitted on request. If you also want to connect solar collectors, you need a triple-energy cylinder with two heat exchangers.
The 4 kW electric heating element is optional and fitted on request. You will find it in the product options.
The comparison shows the dimensions of each size. The manufacturer also gives the required room height: the diagonal of the tank, needed to stand it upright in place. The soft polyurethane insulation is removable; the comparison also shows the diameter without it.
It depends on how much hot water you use and on the heat source. The comparison also shows the heat exchanger surface of each size. Call us and we will work it out together.
The magnesium anode is checked at least twice a year and replaced when it is used up. In suitable water it lasts about 2 years, but it may need replacing after 6 months. Cleaning is done through the flange, without chemicals.
Yes. According to the manufacturer it is also available with larger heat exchangers, with a heating surface of 5.4 m², and with a metal outer casing. Ask us for the price and delivery time.
7 years, according to the manufacturer. It requires installation following the manufacturer's instructions, water within drinking water limits and regular checks of the magnesium anode, which is a consumable and is not covered.
Collect it from our shop in Patras, or we send it by carrier. The shipping cost shows in the cart; if it does not show for your area or size, call us for the delivery cost. A plumber installs it; we can suggest a partner in your area.
The cylinders of this series are the core of the Mastersol forced circulation solar systems, with 2 m² selective collectors and a solar pump station.
