The Werstahl Hades is a wood boiler made of heavy duty steel, 4 mm thick, and 5 mm on the HD100. The flue gases make three passes through horizontal fire tubes, and efficiency is 83%. The boiler has a semi-automatic cleaning system.

It is not limited to wood. It has a port for an oil or gas burner and is ready for a biomass burner, for pellets, olive pits and other biomass.

The boilers go through thorough checks, are CE certified and are produced to ISO 9001 standards. They come with a written 7-year warranty. You add the analogue control panel and the fan, if you want them, when you order.

            Fire-tube heat exchangerThe flue gases make three passes through fire tubes. The heat exchange surface grows, the flue gas temperature stays low and fuel consumption drops. Its design also makes cleaning easier.

            Analogue control panelSimple and reliable: it shows the basics of combustion at once, without complex electronics or menus. It has a switch, a water thermostat and a circulator thermostat. You add it when you order.

            Burner portWith an oil or gas burner the boiler keeps heating when you run out of wood, or whenever you prefer another fuel. It is also ready for a biomass burner, for pellets and olive pits.

            Three front doorsFire tubes at the top, combustion chamber in the middle, ash at the bottom: each has its own door. The fan goes on the side, if you choose it. The semi-automatic cleaning system makes servicing easier.

Which model suits my home?

The model comparison shows the heated space of each size, indicatively from 190 m² for the HD40 to 500 m² for the HD100. The right choice depends on the insulation and the climate, so a heat loss study is needed. Call us and we will help.

Can I fit an oil or gas burner?

Yes. The boiler has a port for an oil or gas burner, so it keeps heating when you have no wood. The burner is bought separately.

Can it burn pellets or olive pits?

Yes, with a biomass burner: the boiler is ready for one. The Werstahl HSB40/70 olive pit and biomass burner fits the HD40, HD50 and HD70. For the HD100, ask us.

What does the price include?

The boiler. You choose the analogue control panel and the fan when you order, if you want them. An oil, gas or biomass burner is bought separately.

How is it cleaned?

The boiler has a semi-automatic cleaning system, and the design of the heat exchanger makes cleaning easier. The fire tubes, the combustion chamber and the ash each have their own door.

What servicing does it need?

A yearly service by a technician, replacing the anode rod and checking the safety systems. It is also a condition of the warranty.

What warranty does it have?

A written warranty of 7 years on the boiler and 2 years on the electrical and electronic parts, throughout Greece, provided it is serviced every year.

How are delivery and installation done?

Collect it from our shop in Patras, or we send it by carrier. The shipping cost shows in the cart; if it does not show for your area or size, call us for the delivery cost. A heating installer fits it; we can suggest a partner in your area.

Complete the installation

A biomass burner and a hot water cylinder.

The Werstahl HSB40/70 burner fits the HD40, HD50 and HD70. With a Mastersol hot water cylinder, your hot water is heated by the boiler while the heating runs.
