Description

Wood, with forced air.

The Werstahl WD is a boiler for wood only, made of 4 mm steel and fed by hand. The flue gases make three passes through vertical fire tubes, and the boiler has a manual self-cleaning system.

It works with forced air from the fan it comes with. The control panel, which you add when you order, switches the fan on and off and sets its speed.

Which model suits my home?

The model comparison shows the heated space of each size, indicatively from 170 m² for the WD40 to 330 m² for the WD60. The right choice depends on the insulation and the climate, so a heat loss study is needed. Call us and we will help.

Which fuel does it use?

Wood only, loaded by hand. It does not take a pellet burner.

Does it need power?

Yes. The boiler works with forced air from its fan. The control panel switches the fan on and off and sets its speed.

What does the price include?

The boiler with its fan. You add the control panel when you order.

How much wood does it burn?

According to the product data, from 2.5–10 kg per hour on the WD40 to 6–17 kg per hour on the WD60. In practice it depends on the wood and on how much heat the house needs.

What warranty does it have?

8 years. Ask us for the warranty terms.

How are delivery and installation done?

Collect it from our shop in Patras, or we send it by carrier. The shipping cost shows in the cart; if it does not show for your area or size, call us for the delivery cost. A heating installer fits it; we can suggest a partner in your area.

Complete the installation

Werstahl boiler, Mastersol cylinder.

With a Mastersol hot water cylinder, your hot water is heated by the boiler while the heating runs. The triple-energy ones connect to a solar system as well.
