Description

A new collector for your solar water heater.

The Mastersol MSsO is a fullplate selective solar collector for horizontal mounting, aluminium – titanium with a copper riser grid, for closed-circuit solar water heaters. It is the collector to replace an old or worn collector on your solar water heater.

The glass is 3.2 mm tempered safety glass, made to withstand hail and rain. All Mastersol collectors are pressure tested at 15 bar; with antifreeze, the collector withstands down to −47 °C.

The blue selective absorber is full plate, 0.40 mm aluminium sheet with a titanium treatment. The aluminium profile is 1.25 mm thick, the insulation is 40 mm mineral wool, the copper joints are brazed with 5% silver and the silicone is 100% neutral.

Will it fit my solar water heater?

It is for closed-circuit solar water heaters. Compare the area and dimensions with the collector you are replacing, or send us a photo and its dimensions.

What does selective mean?

That the absorber has a selective titanium coating on the aluminium.

Does it stand up to hail?

According to the manufacturer, the tempered safety glass is made to withstand hail and rain of any intensity.

How does it differ from the MSsL?

The MSsO is the horizontal version, for mounting with the long side horizontal. It has the same areas and the same construction.

What warranty does it have?

15 years. Ask us for the warranty terms.

How is it delivered?

Collect it from our shop in Patras, or we send it by carrier. The shipping cost shows in the cart; if it does not show for your area or size, call us for the delivery cost. A plumber installs it; we can suggest a partner in your area.
