Closed circuit
With a closed expansion vessel there are no water or air losses, corrosion is limited and pressure and temperature stay steady. Safety valves prevent overpressure. The closed circuit kit is for this circuit.
The main parts to connect a water-heating fireplace to the radiators of the house: for an open circuit, a closed circuit or with a heat exchanger.

Werstahl connection kits contain the main parts needed to connect a water-heating fireplace to the radiators of the house. There are three, one for each way of connecting: for an open circuit, for a closed circuit and with a heat exchanger.
All three have an inverter circulator, a T90 temperature and pressure relief valve against overheating (3 bar or 94°C) and an electronic thermostat that shows the water temperature and switches the circulator on and off. The open and closed circuit kits also have a three-way motorised valve, and the closed circuit kit adds a 3 bar safety valve. The heat exchanger kit has two circulators and a Swep plate heat exchanger with 30 plates.
The kits come with a detailed connection diagram drawn up by a mechanical engineer.
The three ways of connecting, as Werstahl describes them, with its diagrams.
With a closed expansion vessel there are no water or air losses, corrosion is limited and pressure and temperature stay steady. Safety valves prevent overpressure. The closed circuit kit is for this circuit.
The water is in contact with the air and the pressure stays close to atmospheric. It is simple and cheaper to install, but it loses water to evaporation and needs more frequent servicing and topping up. The open circuit kit is for this circuit.
The fireplace runs with an open expansion vessel and the radiators on a closed circuit. The heat exchanger separates the two circuits: less corrosion and steady pressure on the closed side, and protection from overheating. The heat exchanger kit is for this circuit.
Choose the kit by the way your fireplace will be connected. If you are not sure, ask us.

2610 334 389 info@climaventis.grIt depends on how the fireplace is connected: with a closed expansion vessel the closed circuit kit, with an open vessel the open circuit kit, and with the fireplace on an open circuit and the radiators on a closed one the heat exchanger kit. Our mechanical engineers will help you choose.
For Werstahl water-heating fireplaces. Ask us about your fireplace and installation.
Open circuit: an inverter circulator, a three-way motorised valve, a T90 relief valve and an electronic thermostat. Closed circuit: the same plus a 3 bar safety valve. Heat exchanger: two inverter circulators, a Swep plate heat exchanger with 30 plates, a T90 valve and a thermostat.
An inverter circulator (two in the heat exchanger kit), chosen to suit your installation. Tell us about your fireplace and your home.
It shows the water temperature and switches the circulator on and off.
A temperature and pressure relief valve against overheating, for 3 bar or 94°C. All three kits have one.
Yes. The kits come with a detailed connection diagram drawn up by a mechanical engineer. A plumber makes the connection.
The kit ships by courier throughout Greece, with the cost shown in the cart, or you collect it from our shop in Patras.
