The Mastersol BUF0 1500-9000 is a buffer tank without a heat exchanger. While the boiler runs or the solar collectors produce hot water, the water is stored in the buffer tank and used hours later. The tank keeps the water hot for a long time, when the boiler stops or when the collectors no longer produce, for lack of sun. In the same way it can store chilled water, if it is connected to a water chiller instead of a boiler or collectors.

It is built to DIN 4753 and EN 12897 and checked to international hygiene rules. The insulation is soft polyurethane, 52 kg/m³, with an outer cover of PVC leatherette in various colours; insulation and cover both come off. A magnesium anode protects it from corrosion. It is meant for homes and businesses.

What is a buffer tank for?

It stores the hot water produced by the boiler or the solar collectors, so it can be used hours later, when the boiler stops or when there is no sun.

Can it store chilled water?

Yes. According to the manufacturer, connected to a water chiller instead of a boiler or collectors, it stores chilled water in the same way.

Will it fit in my room?
