Aluminium air ducts

A spiral aluminium air duct is a flexible pipe that bends and adapts without special fittings. In heating it is mainly used to carry warm air from an air energy fireplace, or a stove with duct outlets, to adjoining rooms or the floor above.

Choose a diameter that matches the appliance’s air outlet. Keep the route as short and straight as possible, because every bend reduces the amount of air that arrives. The ducts are made by Art Kamin in many diameters. For flue gases from fireplaces and stoves, use a stainless steel chimney.
