Description
Solar hot water, with the cylinder where you want it.
Forced circulation solar systems are designed for installations with large hot water needs, such as apartment blocks, hospitals, sports facilities and hotels, and also for homes, when the tank cannot sit above the collectors for aesthetic or structural reasons.
The Mastersol BL2 consists of a vertical hot water cylinder of 750 or 1000 litres, triple energy, with two fixed heat exchangers, and Mastersol selective solar collectors with a total area of 10 to 20 m², depending on the model. It comes with flat-roof frames for the collectors, the Mastersol pre-assembled forced circulation kit (solar pump station), a differential thermostat with sensors, a closed expansion vessel, an automatic filling valve, antifreeze and the connection materials for the collectors, in quantities that match the collectors.
The electric heating element is an option: single-phase 3 kW or three-phase 6, 9 or 12 kW, with or without a thermostat. The differential thermostat compares the collector temperature with the cylinder's and starts the circulator of the pump station when the sun can give heat.
The cylinder is lined inside with Direct Glass liquid enamel, fired at 850 °C, 400 microns thick (DIN 4753 Teil 3 & 6). Mastersol has an ISO 9001 quality management system for the production and sale of solar and electric water heaters.

- CylinderHeight 1800 mm, diameter with insulation 1000 mm. It goes in a closed room, e.g. the boiler room.
- CircuitThe closed circuit is filled with the antifreeze supplied. The pump station, the differential thermostat, the expansion vessel and the filling valve come with the system.
- Electric heating elementSingle-phase or three-phase, depending on the building's power supply. If you are not sure which one you need, ask us.

When hot water needs are large, e.g. in apartment blocks, hotels or sports facilities, or when the tank cannot sit above the collectors, for aesthetic or structural reasons.
What does the system include?
The cylinder, the Mastersol selective collectors with flat-roof frames, the Mastersol pre-assembled kit (solar pump station), a differential thermostat with sensors, a closed expansion vessel, an automatic filling valve, antifreeze and the connection materials for the collectors. The electric heating element is an option.
Which electric heating element should I choose?
Single-phase 3 kW or three-phase 6, 9 or 12 kW, with or without a thermostat. Which one fits depends on the power supply and the installation; ask us if you are not sure. The system is also sold without a heating element.
Flat roof or tiled roof?
The flat-roof frames are included. For a tiled roof, contact us.
What does the differential thermostat do?
It compares the collector temperature with the cylinder's and starts the circulator when the sun can give heat.
What warranty does it have?
7 years on the cylinder and 15 years on the collectors.
How is it delivered?
Collect it from our shop in Patras, or we send it by carrier. The shipping cost shows in the cart; if it does not show for your area or size, call us for the delivery cost. A plumber installs it; we can suggest a partner in your area.
