Heat Pump Cylinders with One Heat Exchanger

The cylinders in this category have one large-surface heat exchanger for connecting the home's air-to-water heat pump. As a heat pump works with lower water temperatures than a boiler, the large contact area helps heat the domestic water in reasonable time, with fewer operating cycles.

The electric element remains as a second source, for example for periodic heating to a higher temperature or when the heat pump is out of service. It suits homes heated only by a heat pump and without solar collectors.
