Description

Wood heating in a small space.

The Werstahl Hydro ECO PRO is a water-heating fireplace for wood, designed to take up little space. It connects to the radiators and heats both the room and the radiator system, so it also suits smaller houses and flats.

The 35-litre water tank and the chimney damper are built in. It is made from 5 mm ST37-2 steel, with a 6 bar test pressure, and secondary and tertiary combustion make better use of the fuel.

You control the fire with two dampers: the air intake damper sets how much air enters the combustion chamber, and the chimney damper sets the flow of the flue gases. The door swings open sideways, like a normal door.

Does it heat the whole house?

It connects to the radiators and also heats the room it stands in. The indicative heated space is 70 m²; the real coverage depends on the insulation and the climate. Call us and we will look at it together.

Which size do I need?

According to Werstahl, a fireplace is chosen not by floor area but by the heat output of the radiators plus 20-30%. For radiators of 20,000 kcal: 20,000 × 1.30 = 26,000 kcal, about 30 kW. Call us and our engineers will help.

How much space does it need?

The outer dimensions are 61 × 115 × 54 cm (W × H × D) and the hearth 50 × 37 × 37 cm. The water tank and the chimney damper are built in to keep it small.

How does it connect to the radiators?

On a closed circuit, an open circuit or with a heat exchanger. There is a connection kit with the main parts for each, supplied with a detailed diagram. An installer makes the connection.

Does the glass blacken?

Tertiary combustion, a vertical air flow in front of the glass, limits blackening from the smoke.

What does energy class A mean?

It is the fireplace's rating on the EU energy label (regulation 2015/1186), which you will find among the product photos.

What warranty does it have?

How are delivery and installation done?

The fireplace ships by carrier throughout Greece, with the cost shown in the cart, or you collect it from our shop in Patras. An installer fits it; we can suggest a partner in your area.
