Description

The largest Hercules.

The Werstahl Hercules HS320 to HS520 are automatic multi-fuel solid fuel boilers from 372 to 605 kW. They burn olive pits, kernels, pellets, nut shells, coal and bark, and with the special grate wood too, loaded by hand. With the matching burner they also run on oil, LPG or natural gas.

The fuel reaches the burner through an auger driven by a geared motor, and a fan with adjustable speed supplies the combustion air. You set the feed and the fan on the analogue control panel.

The burner has double flashback protection, electronic and mechanical, and a fire extinguishing system. Software keeps the flame alive. If the fuel runs out, the fan stops and the panel shows it.

  • Power supplyThe panel, the fan and the geared motor need power. A voltage stabiliser is recommended: damage from voltage drops is not covered by the warranty of the electronics.
  • PlumbingBoiler water 1510lt. For the size of the connections, ask us before installing.
  • SpaceDimensions 201 x 202 x 280cm (W × H × D), net weight 3310kg. Leave room for the doors to open and for cleaning.
  • SizeThe heated space is indicative. Choosing the right size needs a heat loss study by an engineer.

Which model do I need?

The model comparison shows the heated space of each size, indicatively from 1,800 m² for the HS320 to 2,900 m² for the HS520. Buildings of this size need a heat loss study by an engineer. Call us and we will help.

Can it burn wood?

Yes, with the special wood grate, which is optional. Wood is loaded by hand; with biomass the boiler runs automatically.

Does it run on oil or gas?

Yes, with the matching oil, LPG or natural gas burner.

Is there automatic ignition?

As an option: the boilers can be fitted with an automatic ignition system. Ask us.

What happens if the fuel runs out?

The fan stops and the panel shows the matching indication. As long as there is fuel, the boiler software keeps the flame alive.

What servicing does it need?

A yearly service by a technician, replacing the anode rod and checking the safety systems. It is also a condition of the warranty.

What warranty does it have?

7 years on the boiler and 2 years on the electrical and electronic parts, throughout Greece, provided it is serviced every year.

How are delivery and installation done?

Collect it from our shop in Patras, or we send it by carrier. The shipping cost shows in the cart; if it does not show for your area or size, call us for the delivery cost. A heating installer fits it; we can suggest a partner in your area.
