Description

One boiler for every solid fuel.

The Werstahl Hercules HS is an automatic multi-fuel solid fuel boiler. It burns olive pits, kernels, pellets, coal and bark, and with the cast-iron grate it burns wood too. With the matching burner it also runs on oil, LPG or natural gas.

The fuel is stored in a 320-litre silo and reaches the burner through a steel auger driven by a geared motor. A fan with adjustable speed supplies the combustion air.

The burner has a flashback protection system, electronic and mechanical, and a fire extinguishing system. It comes with an analogue control panel.

Which model suits my home?

The model comparison shows the heated space of each size, indicatively from 220 m² for the HS40 to 550 m² for the HS100. The right choice depends on the insulation and the climate, so a heat loss study is needed. Call us and we will help.

Can I burn wood?

Yes, with the cast-iron wood grate, which you add when you order. With wood the boiler runs manually; with pellets, olive pits and other biomass it runs automatically from the silo.

How long does a full silo last?

The silo holds 320 litres, about 205 kg of pellets. According to the manufacturer, autonomy reaches up to 136 hours on the HS40 and up to 69 hours on the HS100. In practice it depends on the fuel and on how much heat the house needs.

What control panel does it have?

An analogue panel, simple and durable: boiler water thermometer, burner and circulator thermostats, and an auger timer for the feed rate. It is included in the price.

Does it run on oil or gas?

Yes. The boiler has a port for an oil, LPG or natural gas burner. The burner is added separately.

What servicing does it need?

A yearly service by a technician, replacing the anode rod and checking the safety systems. It is also a condition of the warranty.

What warranty does it have?

7 years on the boiler and 2 years on the electrical and electronic parts, throughout Greece, provided it is serviced every year.

How are delivery and installation done?

The boiler ships by carrier throughout Greece, with the cost shown in the cart, or you collect it from our shop in Patras. A heating installer fits it; we can suggest a partner in your area.
