Metallurgy of Attica radiators provide ideal heating conditions, because they deliver 60% of their heat to the room by convection and 40% by radiation. This ratio gives a pleasant feeling of comfort. For the same volume, they have the highest heat output compared with other types of radiators.
The range of types in height, width and length (made in even numbers of sections, up to 40 sections) makes it possible to choose the right radiator for every heated room. They are supplied with electrostatic paint, oven-baked at 200°C, in white. The normal amount of water inside the radiators improves the control flexibility of central heating systems and allows accurate control of the room temperature, which saves fuel and gives high efficiency.
They have four tappings (4 holes with ½" thread). Each radiator comes with the matching bracket set, which can be fitted on the radiator in any position that suits the needs and layout of the room. They are supplied with one (1) ½" blanking plug and one (1) ½" air vent, both in chrome-plated brass.
They are made on the most modern machinery to ensure complete tightness and the longest possible service life. The stated heat outputs follow the German standard DIN 4703, are actual values and are given in the technical data table of the brochure. The sheet steel used (special specification) is 0.9 mm thick.
All radiators are tested at a pressure of 6 to 7 atmospheres. According to DIN 18380 (ch. 372, p. 5), radiators must be tested after installation:
1. At a pressure of no more than 4 atmospheres, with a hand pump and cold water.
2. Immediately afterwards, in normal operation at the highest permissible operating temperature of the system.
