Mastersol MG30 magnesium anode for solar water heaters, 30 cm

A 30 cm magnesium rod for the cathodic protection of the solar water heater cylinder against corrosion by electrolysis.

The anode is sacrificial: it corrodes itself in place of the metal parts of the tank that are in contact with the water. A magnesium anode to German specifications is the most suitable protection for water supply, heating and solar installations, both technically and hygienically.

On Mastersol solar water heaters the magnesium rod is replaced every 2 years at the service, or every year with the 10-year warranty.
